Job Responsibilities
As a Farm Laborer, your duties may include:
- Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
- Harvesting fruits and vegetables
- Applying fertilizers and spraying crops
- Mixing fertilizer
- Cleaning crops and greenhouses
- Weeding and maintaining fields
- Cutting horticultural crops
- Harvesting vegetables by hand
- Dividing harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
- Maintaining vine growth and vertical farming systems
- Clearing fields of wood and stones
- Performing general farm maintenance tasks
Crops You’ll Work With
Workers may be involved in growing and harvesting:
- Apples
- Cherries
- Cucumbers
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
- Tomatoes
Job Requirements
